The rabbit hole gets deeper the more you dig, and some tunnels take you back to places you've been but with new insight and new ways to move forward.

There are 40 passages to find, some of which will reveal more if you visit them again later.

The story is an exploration of depression and how trauma can affect a person. There are mentions of self-harm and suicide, and a heavy emphasis on the death of loved ones. In addition, there are brief mentions of homophobia though that is not the focus of the story.
